CHA 2014 - Avery Elle Stamps

One the last day of the CHA event, as my mother was walking onto the show floor, she spotted this stamp booth in the New Exhibitors area . . . this area is for people/companies that are at CHA for the very first time. She stopped to look at the stamps and started talking to the owner and mentioned that she has a daughter that is a teen blogger and that she would probably love these stamps.

Well the owner offered to get me a stamp set if I blogged about it and then made some things with the stamp set.  The one that she sent me has this CUTE little monkey on it.  I love the phrase "Thanks A Bunch" that is on this stamp set!

This stamp set is by Avery Elle and you can find their links below.

CHA 2014 - Some Odd Girl

I discovered a stamp company called Some Odd Girl that I really liked.  The stamps are so cute!  Look at this little fox.

They were doing a Make and Take where you could create a tag, so I thought I would make one.  Below is the video we took of me at the Some Odd Girl booth making the tag.

And here is the finished tag!

I have included links to Some Odd Girl below.  Tell them Beth sent you!

CHA 2014 - Lawn Fawn

I have been looking forward to seeing the Lawn Fawn booth at CHA since I found out that we were going!  I love their stamps!

They were doing a Make and Take at the booth where you could create a card.  I created this card with their sushi stamps.

And here is a video of me creating this card!

I was surprised when we returned from CHA to see that my picture was on the Lawn Fawn Facebook page in their CHA Make and Take photo collage.  (I am in the lower right hand corner)

"Happy Happy Birthday" Ice Cream Card

For my Aunt's birthday, instead of just buying er a card from the store, I decided it would be much more fun and unique to create my own for her!
I started off by using a Cuttlebug to emboss a swirling, cloud-like design. But when I did this, I made sure to line up the embossing plate to leave a space to stamp my saying from my Lawn Fawn stamp set.

After this, I used a piece of blue painter's tape to cover up the bottom of the card for when I planned to ink the embossed, white paper.
I used Megan Elizabeth's Chillax colored ink, and a sponge to lightly dab it on.
After this, I used Megan Elizabeth's adhesive squares on the back of my inked, and embossed paper, and stuck it onto my card. Along with this, I stamped on my saying: "Happy Happy Birthday".
Using a Lawn Fawn stamp set, I stamped six ice cream cones, and colored them in. Then, I lined them up in a curve, and glued them on.

After that, I decided my card needed a little something more, and I instantly thought of The Buckle Boutique's great rainbow rhinestone sheets! Using my Cricut I cut out a heart, to put on as the final touch.

"Some bunny loves you" Card

Today, I made a birthday card, with my mother, Shawn Mosch . While I did the stamping, my mom cut out the images. First, I stamped a bunny from a Lawn Fawn stamp set on a white piece of paper, then colored it in with colored pencils, and a blender pen. After, I cut out two different sized burst shapes using a Cricut image. The outer burst is cut from a purple glitter sheet. The inside burst, we cut out from the center of the blue paper that borders the card. Also, on the polka dot paper, using a Lawn Fawn stamp, I added hearts in some of the circles.

I also cut out the tag using a Cricut image, on the sides of the tag, we added some white Viva Decor. The saying on the card: "Some bunny loves you" was also from a Lawm Fawn stamp set.
Thanks for checking out my card, and blog! I hope you enjoyed this tutorial, and that it inspires great ideas for you!

From Stamps to Stickers!

Today I was faced with a problem: I wanted to have the cute pictures from the Lawn Fawn stamps, but be able to put that image anywhere I wanted to, without having to worry if the ink would stick to the surface. So I started off with stamping, and coloring the images on a strip of white card stock.

Then, I ran the images through the Xyron, which turned the entire strip of paper into one big sticker.
I individually cut out each of the images and...

You have your stamp images transformed into stickers! I also added some Viva Decor to the pie to add some extra color to the sticker.
Now you can stick your favorite images wherever you want to! Perfect for adding a sprinkle of fun to plain notebooks, binders, folders, or pencil bags with going back to school right around the corner!
